Services we offer

We draw up models for technical and other processes, in cooperation with our customers. We carry out simulation campaigns, and we analyze the results.

We attach great importance to explore how close to the reality a specific model is: Close enough to describe required features with the necessary accuracy, but as simple as possible to become easy to handle.

The way we see our self is to be a “missing link” between the scientific standards of university research and the practically oriented approach of industrial developments. We would like to illustrate our work by some examples:

• Gun jump in tank gunnery:
  A simple example which was developped to determine the gun jump in tank gunnery. It was developed for a manufacturer’s acceptance tests to demonstrate the quality of the delivered tank gun.
• A model for mutations: A complex example showing an approach to calculate the maximal influence of mutations. It was daveloped as part of a research project dealing with the “prebiotic evolution of life” carried out at the University of Vienna, in co-operation of the Mathematical Institute and the Institute of Theoretical Chemistry.
• Convergence of numerical methods: A third example should show the necessity to look for the convergence of numerical methods, what sometimes is neglected when mathematical programs are used uncritically.
